Welcome to The Ideal Life Program: 52 weeks to having the life you’ve always wanted!

I’m delighted that you’ve taken this first critical step in your personal growth and success! Here’s how it works:

Every week you will automatically receive a Weekly Progress Report in your email inbox with a link to click to access your new coaching assignment. (Make sure you whitelist emails from LifeCoach.com so that they come through to you). The assignments in the Ideal Life Program are simple and powerful — the same ones I give to clients I’ve worked with privately. Most people find it beneficial to do this program in conjunction with the book, Coach Yourself to Success, as I’ll be making references to specific tips in the book that will enhance your understanding of the assignment.

You probably already have a full schedule so I’ve kept the assignments short and simple so that you can easily complete them on a weekly basis. For the best results, I recommend that you set aside at least 20 minutes to an hour a week to work on your coaching assignments and update your Weekly Progress Report, and keep them in a ring-binder or if you prefer electronic files, we recommend Evernote.com. That being said, I also know that some weeks are busier than others and have created a 10 Minute Option so that you can make progress even on particularly busy weeks. You can always go back and review your assignments more thoroughly when you have more time. Your content is stored in the Filebox on your membership area.

Each week you will also have access to 1-2 hours of recorded audio content as well as monthly recorded webinars that supports or enhance your weekly life coaching assignments. Our members find these audio recordings and webinars particularly helpful resources to listen to throughout the course of the program for inspiration, motivation and a deeper understanding of the coaching process. Enjoy them!

For the best results:

1. Set Aside a Regular Time each Week devoted to your life coaching (e.g. Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m.) when you’ll focus on doing your coaching assignments, updating your weekly progress report, listening to the audio recordings or the webinars. (Many people listen to the audio recordings during their commutes). Don’t worry if you feel you are getting behind on the assignments. Just do as much as you can each week and as long as you are doing the 10 Minute Option, you will be making more progress than you realize. If you are really short on time on a particularly busy week or on vacation, you can often just write down the answers to an assignment and do the actual work another time.

2. Prepare for Change. Things may begin to change quickly for you when you start the coaching program, especially if you are doing your weekly assignments regularly. Please make sure to take extra-good care of yourself while you embark on this life-changing program. Drink more water than usual, take an extra Vitamin C each day and get more rest and more massages to help you assimilate the changes easily. For some reason, many people catch a cold when they start coaching — don’t be alarmed, this may be the body’s way of adapting to the changes on a cellular level and clearing out some unneeded toxins.

3. Keep a Journal/Binder. We recommend you use a ring binder to print and store the Weekly Progress Reports as well as the monthly Coaching Programs (such as the Clean Sweep Program™) you will be receiving so that you keep track of your progress throughout the program and can easily update your scores as you make progress. Keeping a journal is an excellent way to speed up and enhance the coaching process. I recommend writing 3 pages a day in a journal or in your binder. Although this is optional, my clients find that the regular habit of writing about their day enhances their personal growth and creativity. Alternatively, use Evernote.com for electronic storage of your coaching programs.
