Make a list of the 7 negative or over-influencers in your life. What is causing you stress right now?
An over-influencer might be a person or a job that is influencing you more than you like or in a way that is ultimately stressful.
Here is a sample list of some common negative or over-influencers that cause stress:
1. Insufficient savings or lack of reserve
2. Micro-managing boss
3. Controlling spouse or partner
4. Credit card debt
5. Big mortgage
6. Clutter, too much stuff
7. Too many commitments, goals or projects
8. Caring for sick or aging relatives
9. Caring for young children or babies
10. Inadequate or weak boundaries
11. Unmet personal and emotional needs
12. Boring job
13. Poor health
14. Over-weight
15. High blood pressure
16. Nagging spouse
17. Toothache
18. Too much TV
19. Promises made, but not kept
You get the idea?
Now make your own list. If you have less than or more than 7 that is okay. Just write down everything that comes to mind that is causing you stress, whether that is major or minor.
You don’t have to do anything with this list. Just write it down. You will start to resolve these items naturally, now that you are fully aware of them. The secret it taking the time to write the list!
